Description:

The County’s Human Services Department (HSD) is seeking a qualified candidate with a background in enterprise data management to work in their Information Technology Section.

The Human Services Database Administrator is part of a nine person Reporting, Applications and Data (RAD) Unit within the Information Technology Section of the HSD. The RAD Unit collaboratively serves approximately 1,000 HSD employees, who provide a wide variety of social service programs and services to members of the community. The unit is responsible for application development (web and client), business intelligence/advanced reporting, enterprise data management, database administration, external website maintenance, and implementation and system administration of all programming tools/platforms/systems.

Qualifications:

Qualifications for this position include completion of 24 semester college units or 36 quarter units in computer science or information systems; AND three years of experience performing both systems analysis/design and programming for business applications, which entailed analysis and design of several systems.
