The County of Sonoma seeks an experienced professional with exceptional analytical skills to make data driven decisions that strengthen services provided to the community.
This recruitment is being conducted to fill one full-time Program Analyst vacancy in the Planning, Research, Evaluation, and Engagement Unit of the Human Services Department (HSD).
Human Services Program Analysts contribute to the overall implementation of the department’s Executive Team’s vision for Planning, Research, Evaluation, & Engagement activities. Serving as liaisons for their assigned program area(s) and engaging other County departments, governmental agencies, community organizations and members, Program Analysts research, analyze, develop, plan, monitor, and evaluate programs, policies, and data; convene and lead meetings; support advisory groups; and manage related communications.

Qualifications:

Qualifications normally include a degree in social work, gerontology, psychology, sociology, public health, health science, health education, community health, public policy, public administration, business administration, economics, or a closely related area; and two years of experience in program planning, staff development, program supervision, community organization, and/or analysis of human, health, and/or child support services programs.
