Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Completion of 30 semester or 45 quarter units from an accredited college or university in computer science, computer information systems, data processing, information management, computer engineering or a closely related field. IT Database Administrator II or III experience with Riverside County or its equivalent may substitute for education on a year for year basis.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of four years of successful journey level database administrator experience. One of those years must include either lead person duties or database technically advanced IT job-related work (one year of experience as an IT Database Administrator II with the county will satisfy lead person or database technically advanced IT job related work experience requirement). Experience must include 4 years of experience with Oracle 10 g (desired Oracle 12 c or later), 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (desired Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later) and 3 years of experience with Recovery Managements Systems; table space management (R-man) 10 g (desired R-Man 12 c or later).
