Description:

Land Use/Environmental Planner III performs the most complex, difficult, and sensitive environmental and planning projects. Land Use/Environmental Planner III’s in the Transportation Division support the implementation of Long Range and Private Projects through review and development of transportation or mobility studies and plans. The position will also support development of mobility components in Community Plans, lead implementation of SB 743 and the transition away from Level of Service Traffic Analysis for the California Environmental Quality Act. The position will help develop the implementation of the Climate Action Plan and identify opportunities to reduce vehicle miles traveled in the unincorporated County.
