The Riverside County Human Resources Department Law Enforcement & Assessment Unit has an exceptional opportunity available for a Law Enforcement Psychologist.
The Law Enforcement Psychologist will primarily be tasked with providing psychological services to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department to meet California legal requirements of Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.). This includes pre-employment testing and evaluation, as well as conducting directed research associated with employing successful law enforcement personnel. In addition, the Law Enforcement Psychologist will conduct fitness for duty evaluations for County employees, administer psychological testing batteries and provide treatment recommendations for client referrals from the County’s Employee Assistance Services Program.

Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology and five years of experience.
Licensed psychologist in the State of California and compliant with any current P.O.S.T. education and training requirements developed for the conduct of pre-employment psychological screening of peace officers.
