$85,765.68 – $120,071.95 Annually

Description:

Under general administrative direction, plans, organizes, directs all transactions in real estate relating to acquisition of right of way for public projects, appraisal, relocation assistance, utility relocation activities, management of real property, facility leasing, franchise administration and County Service Area administration; supervises Real Property Agent personnel in the technical aspects of activities; and performs related duties.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Caltrans and Federal Highway Administration rules for acquisition of property for public projects, and significant experience in commercial property management including the public sector environment. This experience involves the management, administration of leases and contracts and substantial participation in negotiations to: effect contract and lease modifications, reach acceptable settlements, and conclude lease/contract modifications, lease extensions, renewals. This candidate will conduct thorough, logical analysis before recommending a course of action to management, landlords and tenants, and be proficient in the management of databases. Skills in conflict resolution are essential, as is providing outstanding customer service.
