Salary:

$82,050 – $118,862 Annually DOE/DOQ (base salary plus cash benefit allowance)

Description:

We are accepting applications for the Maternal Child Adolescent Health (MCAH) Director in Santa Barbara. The MCAH Director’s role is responsible for overseeing and implementing the MCAH mission, goals and objectives for the State of California. This role also functions as the manager of Public Health Department MCAH programs and the Field Nursing Unit. It ensures the performance of the core public health functions of assessment, policy development, evaluation in maternal child adolescent health.

MCAH is a part of the Department of Health Services currently housed in the California Department of Public Health. The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department administers MCAH Programs for Santa Barbara County. Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Public Administration or related field,
or Certified Public Health Nurse with California RN license; AND

1. 3 years progressively responsible administrative and supervisory experience; AND experience working with women and children; AND experience building community relationships, collaborations and initiatives, or
2. a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed and provides the required knowledge and abilities.
