Salary:

$47,795.07 – $86,769.49 Annually

Description:

The position will report to the Executive Officer of LAFCO and will be responsible for performing complex and sensitive professional data research, compilation, financial analysis, and review in support of LAFCO. This responsibility includes the analysis of complex proposals for local agency boundary changes and comprehensive studies related to the provision of local governmental services. Additionally, this position is responsible for presenting summarized information and recommendations to the Executive Officer of LAFCO and the Commission based on evaluation/analysis.

Competitive candidates will possess experience in analysis of local government municipal services and be familiar with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

At minimum a Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, planning, urban studies, geography, economics, environmental science, political science, or a related field is required.

The level at which the position will be filled is at the Department’s discretion and is contingent on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
