Salary:

$20.73 – $31.35/hr.

Description:

Under general direction, to perform the more complex professional natural resources analysis and policy assignments; to provide professional assistance to the Board of Supervisors for input, policy formulation and implementation related to natural resource issues; to research and develop studies and reports, and to review proposed federal and state regulations and actions; to provide responses to specific requests regarding natural resources issues; to explain ordinances, regulations, and policies to the public related to resource issues; to work with advisory committees appointed by the Board of Supervisors.

Qualifications:

Three years of work experience performing professional natural resource work or related field in the public or private sector areas of land use or environmental management. Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a BA or BS in environmental studies, geography, town and rural planning, regional planning. A Master’s Degree is highly desired and may substitute for one year of work experience. Seven years of experience with Natural Resource management or related field may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
Broad and professional experience working in public or private sector agency in Natural Resources desired.
