Description:

This is an outstanding career opportunity within Placer County HR Department. The position is responsible for benefit program administration, overseeing benefit/payroll transaction processing, managing multiple high profile projects and leading and mentoring assigned staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background preferably including benefits experience, possess excellent analytical, organizational and change management skills, proven ability to manage diverse and complex projects from beginning to end, strong communication skills, and be comfortable interacting with staff at all levels in the County.

Qualifications:

Experience and Training:
Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:

Experience: Two years of responsible professional personnel administration experience performing duties similar to a Personnel Analyst II with Placer County.

Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration, personnel administration, behavioral science or a related field.

License or Certificate:
May need to possess a valid California driver’s license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
