$99,777.60 – $121,284.80 Annually

Description:

The County of El Dorado is conducting this recruitment to fill one (1) full time vacancy in the Chief Administrative Office located in Placerville, CA. It will also establish a list which may be used up to three months, to fill future full time, part time and extra help vacancies throughout the County.

A Training and Experience Evaluation will be utilized to determine applicant ranking and placement on the eligible list. Based upon responses to the supplemental questionnaire, the applicant’s education, training and experience will be evaluated using a pre-determined formula.
 

Qualifications:

Where college degrees and/or college course credits are required, degrees and college units must be obtained from an accredited college or university. Courses from non-accredited institutions will not be evaluated for this requirement.

Equivalent to graduation from a four year college or university with major course work in business or public administration, economics or a closely related field, AND four years of professional level experience in progressively responsible administrative, operations, budgetary or similar management analytical work. Two years of the required experience in a Chief Administrative Office setting, City Manager Office, or comparable public agency dealing with major public policy issues is preferable.

NOTE: The above qualifications are a typically accepted way of obtaining the required knowledge and skills.
Other Requirements
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
