Description:

Calaveras County’s administration dept. is seeking a Principal Administrative Analyst to be their newest team member. The incumbent will perform highly responsible analytical work related to fiscal management. This is an experienced fiscal management classification that has programmatic and analytical duties. Responsibilities will include operational and budgetary analysis, and will also involve legislative, policy and funding source analysis. Positions in this class use broad, independent judgment in maintaining and processing difficult financial records and transactions involving a variety of items in different forms and requiring the examination of dissimilar accounting details and supporting documents.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, accounting, economics, or closely related field and five years of progressively difficult fiscal management experience.

A master’s degree in public or business administration, accounting, economics or closely related field may substitute for up to one year of the required experience.
