The Principal Human Resources Analyst reports to the Human Resources Services Manager supporting the Riverside County Regional Medical Center (RCRMC) and is characterized by his/her overall responsibility to provide a full range of human resources services, with an emphasis on supervision of staff. This position will serve as an assistant manager, providing supervision and guidance to journey-level HR Analysts on a wide range of HR functions while personally managing the most complex work and assignments. The Principal HR Analyst will be responsible for performing work in leave management (FMLA/CFRA/PDL), disability access (ADA/FEHA), classification and compensation, employee relations, and recruitment and selection.

Qualified candidates will be seasoned, public-sector HR professionals with the ability to communicate well in both written and verbal form, and make sound decisions under tight deadlines. Prior experience mentoring and developing subordinate staff is highly desired. 

** Candidates will be required to take a general HR knowledge assessment and writing ability assessment as part of the selection process. Only candidates with a passing score on the writing ability assessment will be eligible to interview. **

Qualifications:

• Four years professional-level experience in the areas of leave management, job analysis, classification, compensation analysis, and employee relations.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
