Salary:

$94,806.40 – $115,481.60 (w/Master’s Degree) or $90,230.40 - $109,928.00 (w/o Master’s Degree) **Pending City Council Approval**

Description:

The City is currently searching for a highly skilled, very experienced and enthusiastic human resources professional to be an integral part of the Human Resource team. The ideal candidate will possess and demonstrate with confidence and professionalism, advanced skills in recruitment and selection, benefits administration, classification and compensation, and other human resources related areas such as leave administration and labor relations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of advanced professional experience in the human resources field, preferably in a municipal government setting. Supervisory experience is highly desirable.

Education:
Educational achievement equivalent to graduation from a college or university with a bachelor’s degree in human resources, public administration, business administration or a related field. A graduate degree in human resources, public administration, business administration or a related field is desirable.

Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years of advanced professional experience in the human resources field, preferably in a municipal government setting. Supervisory experience is highly desirable.

Special Requirements:
Possession of, or ability to obtain prior to employment, a valid Class C California driver’s license with a safe driving record or the ability to arrange alternate means of transportation when necessary.
