Under general supervision of the Director for General Services, plans, organizes, and participates in activities related to purchasing within General Services, airport operations, County property management, and assisting with the administration of the County’s Campground Host program; prepares and administers contracts for the procurement of materials, supplies and services; coordinates for the leasing and rental of County-owned property; and provides technical and administrative assistance to the Director for General Services.
Any combination of education, training and/or experience which substantially provides the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Typical way to acquire would be completion of core course work from an accredited college or university leading to a Bachelor’s in Bus Admin, Public Admin, or closely related field and 3 yrs of progressively responsible procurement and contract administration experience including the preparation and administration of contracts, preferably within a public agency. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in any field is desirable.
