Description:

Siskiyou County Health & Human Services Agency is seeking experienced professionals to assume a leadership role as Program Manager for Adult & Child Welfare programs. As part of the Agency management team this position oversees development of policy, procedure, and training for a wide variety of programs; provides direction and implementation of new Child Welfare and Adult programs; responsible for writing and managing contracted services and other duties within the scope of Adult & Children’s Services.

Qualifications:

One year experience performing duties comparable to a Social Worker Supervisor I or II, Eligibility Supervisor, Employment and Training Worker Supervisor, or supervisory experience. OR a graduate degree in public administration or business administration or a Master’s Degree in Social Work.
Ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and experience in coordination of information and collaborating with stakeholders; extensive knowledge of policy writing and training techniques; experience in child welfare and/or adult programs is highly desirable as is experience in human resource practices.
