Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks a Program Manager. This Program Manager position is responsible for developing and implementing goals for the Facilities Management Division of the Information and General Services agency. Responsibilities include developing and administering facility management programs, projects, and initiatives; providing support on capital improvement projects including budget development, construction security support, construction and landscaping design support, and managing contractors and vendors; assessing all County-owned and leased buildings and grounds for required current and deferred maintenance; and supervising and leading the building trades staff, custodial staff, and grounds staff. 

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, engineering management, environmental health, a physical science, business, social services, sociology, psychology, or related field, and three years’ experience in the program field at the advanced journey level; OR a Master’s degree in project management, civil engineering, environmental health, a physical science, public health, health services administration, business or public administration, social sciences, psychology, counseling, social work or related field, and two years of experience in the program area at the advanced journey level.
