Monthly Salary: $7,307 – $8,881

Description:

Under direction, the Program Manager I – Protective Services in El Dorado County plans, organizes, and directs Child Welfare or Adult Protective Services programs in the Health and Human Services Agency. Some positions may have additional responsibility for administrative services units and other public service programs. The current vacancy is in Child Welfare.

Qualifications:

While the following requirements outline the minimum qualifications, the department reserves the right to select applicants for further consideration who demonstrate the best qualifications match for the job. Experience in Child Welfare would be extremely beneficial. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications by the application deadline.

Either

A. One (1) year of experience performing duties of a Social Worker Supervisor I or II, Eligibility Supervisor, Employment & Training Worker Supervisor, Staff Services Manager I or II, or a comparably titled position in a public social service agency;

OR

B. A graduate degree in public administration or business administration or a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a master’s degree from a two year counseling program AND One (1) year of experience in employment, eligibility, or social service work in a public social service agency.
