We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter for the Project Director, Consortium-IV (C-IV) position. Consortium-IV is a Joint Powers Authority established for the purpose of design, implementation, and on-going operation and maintenance of an automated welfare system currently in use by 39 member counties. This position is responsible for contract administration duties related to C-IV systems including budget management and control, maintaining records of contract activities, and contractor billing and payments. Additionally, the position will serve as the chairperson of the Project Steering Committee for the maintenance and enhancement of the automated system; monitor project schedules and contractors’ performance; and establish ongoing working relationships with various governmental agencies. This is a contract position.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, business/public administration, or a closely related field AND a minimum of five (5) years of experience in information systems, project management or related experience including management or supervisory duties. Welfare business experience and knowledge of cost/benefit and operations analysis is highly desirable.
