Description:

The County of San Benito, located on California’s Central Coast, seeks to fill the position of Property Tax and Special Accounting Analyst. This position is responsible to plan, organize and perform the activities of the Property Tax & Special Accounting function in the Auditor-Controller’s Office; this single position management class is responsible for planning, organizing and performing the work of the Property Tax & Special Accounting function and in maintaining and insuring the accuracy of the various property tax apportionments.

Qualifications:

Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: a bachelor’s degree in accounting and five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in property tax accounting or auditing work, at least one (1) year of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity. Certified Public Accountant certificate is desirable.
