$101,852.65 – $123,802.53

Description:

The current opening provides management oversight over public health services in the Older and Disabled Adult Services Division, as well as Adult Protective Services, and In-Home Support Services. The incumbent will oversee 65 staff, ensure that the Coordinated Care Services Delivery System is maintained and developed under the regulations of the Affordable Care Act, make policy recommendations to the Deputy Director, and participate in State planning meetings to develop program guidelines, working closely with local hospitals and healthcare providers to maximize opportunities for One Stop Access for seniors and the disabled in the community. 

Qualifications:

Experience: Three years of public health or mental health nursing experience, depending on the area of assignment, which includes one year of supervisory and/or program coordinator responsibility.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university in Public Health or Nursing Administration. Master’s degree desirable.
Possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing and current CPR card. Possession of a California State Public Health nursing certificate for positions allocated to the Public Health section of the Nursing Division. Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Class C California driver’s license may be required.
