Description:

The County of Sonoma seeks an experienced professional to become the next Public Information Office / Principal Administrative Analyst.

Under the direction of the Deputy County Administrator, the Public Information Officer will develop, plan, implement, and supervise the Countywide public information, public relations, and education activities of the County, including the identification, evaluation, and public promotion of Countywide program activities.

Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business/public administration, management, finance, economics, or accounting; and four years of related and comparable experience conducting analysis, developing reports and recommendations, and/or managing projects related to general administration, accounting, budget, and/or personnel work. Experience working in a public agency, an advanced degree in a related field, and lead or supervisory experience are highly desirable.
