$40 – $80 hourly, depending on qualifications/assignment

Description:

Regional Government Services, a public agency, is seeking public service consultants to fill a variety of professional and technical-level finance positions, ranging from technician, analyst, manager, director, to chief executive. Our service partners (other local public agencies) across California need assistance in finance operations.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be able to manage and direct efforts of RGS in the functional area. A bachelor’s degree in the appropriate field, such as business, finance, accounting, public policy, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is desirable. Must have 5 years of progressively more responsible appropriate-level public-sector experience in the applicable discipline. Only well-seasoned public service professionals will be considered.

Work is done from both a home-based office, as well as at work sites of our service partners. Must be flexible and willing to travel between several areas; must be willing to work a flexible and varied schedule of up to 20 – 45 hours per week, depending on needs to fulfill service agreements’ scopes of work; must be able to juggle multiple service partner assignments while providing top quality work; and must be able to represent Regional Government Services as a skilled professional.
