Salary:

(I) $25.63-$31.16/hr. (II) $29.46-$35.83/hr. + Comprehensive Benefits Package.

Description:

The Public Works Analyst will work with the Deputy Director of Operations and Maintenance and the Road Superintendent to develop and implement the Asset Management Program. The incumbent will analyze program data, identify issues, trends and options and develop recommendations. The incumbent will perform field data collection, input data in Public Works asset management system, document findings, perform quality assurance/quality control, and analysis. The incumbent will provide support for the field-based condition assessment program to ensure program data collection requirements are being met. The position requires a highly-motivated individual, with excellent problem solving abilities, superior verbal and written communication skills, with experience in the field of municipal infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be patient, intuitive, and detail-oriented.

Qualifications:

Public Works Analyst I:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in physical science or a closely related field. Six (6) years of technical / professional level experience may be substituted for the Bachelor of Science degree.

Public Works Analyst II:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science in physical science or a closely related area of study and two years of increasingly responsible/professional experience. Six years of technical / professional level experience may be substituted
