Description:

The San Diego County Employees Retirement Association (SDCERA) has an opening for Retirement Active Benefits Manager (official title is Retirement Member Services Manager – Benefit Services Option). The Active Benefit Manager supervises and oversees the maintenance of demographic records and financial accounts for more than 23,000 active and deferred SDCERA members and ensures that County and SDCERA policies, State statues and the Internal Revenue Code are followed in the processing of new hires, terminations, refunds, active payroll, retirement estimates, reciprocity, and service credit purchases.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency; AND, three (3) years of professional level benefits, health, finance, accounting, or pension administration experience, two (2) years of which must have included management responsibilities.
