Description:

The Contra Costa County Employees’ Retirement Association (CCCERA), located in Concord, CA, has an exceptional opportunity for a Retirement Supervising Accountant. Reporting to the Retirement Accounting Manager, the incumbent will perform professional accounting work and assist with the development and management of all financial transactions, recordkeeping, investment accounting and pension payroll processes associated with CCCERA. 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or closely related field, and 3 years of full-time, increasingly responsible professional accounting experience with at least 1 year at the lead or supervisory level that included responsibilities for the professional accounting for a division or department. Strong technical, analytical, organizational, leadership, team building and written/verbal communication skills are essential. CPA Certificate or designation as a CPA is highly desirable.
