$73,821.43 – $85,008.40 Annually 

Description:

The County of Santa Barbara has an exciting opportunity for an HR professional committed to providing responsive, timely and professional HR services. This position’s primary focus is recruitment and selection in support of our growing workforce of nearly 4000, for positions such as office professional, manager, attorney, planner, psychiatrist, park ranger and a variety of other occupations. In addition, the selected application will have opportunities to participate in other human resources activities such as classification, compensation, employee relations, workforce planning, onboarding and organizational development.

Qualifications:

Possession of a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, behavioral sciences, industrial relations, organizational studies, public administration, business administration or a related field; and,
1. Three years of progressively responsible professional experience in recruitment and selection for a public sector government agency which included recruiting, job analysis, employment test construction and validation; or,
2. A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed above and provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet specific job skill requirements and organizational objectives.
