Description:

The Senior Building Inspector reviews building plans and conducts inspections of residential or commercial buildings under construction or being remodeled, and determines compliance of plans and of buildings under construction with applicable State and County codes and standards.

Qualifications:

Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Additional specialized training in building codes, construction technology or a related field is desirable. Experience: Two years of responsible journey level experience performing duties similar to those of a Building Inspector II in Lassen County. License: Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid California driver’s license. Possession of Certificate of Registration as an Inspector issued by the International Conference of Building Officials.
