$5,298 – $6,441/mo

Description:

Under general direction, to plan, organize, supervise, and direct the work of professional, paraprofessional, and technical engineering staff; to perform a variety of the most difficult and complex office and field professional engineering work; to prepare plans, designs, and specifications for a variety of county projects; and to do related work as required.

Qualifications:

Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:

Five years of increasingly responsible professional engineering experience in the planning, development, construction, and maintenance of public works facilities, preferably including at least one year in a supervisory capacity.

Completion of sufficient training and education to meet professional engineering registration requirements in the state of California.
