The Riverside County Human Resources (HR) Department is recruiting to fill multiple Senior HR Analyst vacancies. The Department is seeking experienced employee relations (ER) professionals with strong analytical ability and writing skills. These positions will serve as ER specialists and team leads, providing functional supervision and guidance to other HR Analysts on ER-related matters while personally managing the most complex ER work and assignments. Competitive candidates will have extensive experience conducting investigations into alleged employee misconduct and recommending level of discipline, drafting investigative reports and disciplinary memorandums, responding to EEOC/DFEH complaints; and representing the County’s position in disciplinary appeal hearings and other complex ER matters. In addition to ER assignments, the Senior HR Analyst may also be assigned other generalist duties including leave management (FMLA/CFRA/PDL), disability access (ADA/FEHA), classification and compensation, and recruitment and selection. ** Candidates will be required to take a general HR knowledge assessment and writing ability assessment as part of the selection process. **View the full job posting and job description at www.rc-hr.com.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. A Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate is preferred.
Possession of a Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) and/or Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR) preferred.
Experience: Three years of journey-level experience in professional personnel work, preferably with a focus in employee relations.
