The Riverside County Human Resources (HR) Department has an exciting opportunity available now for a HIPAA compliance expert within our Disability Access/HIPAA Compliance Office.
The Senior Human Resources Analyst – HIPAA Compliance will report to the Human Resources Services Manager (HIPAA Compliance Officer) and will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the County’s compliance with Federal Privacy Law including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act.
The Senior Human Resources Analyst must be a highly analytical problem-solver who can effectively interpret and assimilate legislation and County policies into sound guidance on the most complex information privacy issues. The incumbent will function as a subject matter expert in HIPAA/HITECH compliance to County departments and other HR professionals. Competitive candidates will possess expert knowledge of current Federal Privacy Law and best practices for compliance.
