The Contra Costa County Administrator’s Office is offering an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to fill three vacancies, two providing support to the Health and Human Services service area and one providing support to the Clerk of the Board services area, to be filled at either the Management Analyst or Senior Management Analyst level. Under general direction of a senior administrative staff, the incumbent will perform varied administrative, budgetary and management analysis; conduct research and analysis and provide technical assistance to senior staff on assigned projects and perform other related work as required.

The eligible list established from this recruitment may remain in effect for six months.

Qualifications:

Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in public administration, business administration, political science, accounting, economics, finance, or a closely related field.

Experience: Three (3) years of full-time or its equivalent experience in administration, management, budget, or governmental administrative and/or analytical work, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Substitution for Experience: Possession of a master’s degree in business or public administration or a closely related field may be substituted for six (6) months of the required experience.
