The County of Fresno Department of Personnel Services is offering an exceptional career opportunity to an experienced professional who is committed to providing excellence in the development and administration of training programs as a Senior Personnel Analyst.
The vacancy exists within the Employee Benefits Division and will involve supervising the training unit consisting of professional and clerical staff; planning, organizing, facilitating and assessing County-wide training and development programs; acting as a resource to County departments including using new training approaches, tools, processes and techniques; evaluating training presentations and recommending corrective measures to increase training efficiency; collaborating with professional staff or subject matter specialists in developing and conducting new employee training and in-service training programs, identifying training needs, structuring content and sequence of training, selecting relevant training methods and materials and evaluating training program results; and preparing reports, maintaining files and statistics on training programs and activities.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree that is acceptable within the United States’ accredited college or university system.
Experience: Three (3) years of full-time, paid work experience equivalent to that gained as a Personnel Analyst with Fresno County developing and administering human resources, organizational development or leadership training programs.
Substitution: A master’s degree from an accredited college or university that is acceptable within the United States’ college or university system may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
License: Possession of a valid Class “C” driver’s license, or equivalent, may be required.
