Description:

The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Community Development Department. The Senior Planner with advanced level experience, would perform a variety of difficult professional planning work, such as review complex land use permit applications, conduct policy studies, prepare reports, and make recommendations. The City of Sunnyvale provides an excellent benefits package, including 4% City-paid Employees PERS contribution and the 2.0% at 60 retirement plan.

Qualifications:

(1) a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in urban planning, architecture or a related field; AND Five years of city planning experience, OR

(2) a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in urban planning, architecture or a related field; AND Four years of city planning experience.
