Description:

The Senior Quality Management Specialist conducts complex compliance and quality improvement activities related to social service programs. The position is focused on not only ensuring compliance with relevant social service laws and regulations but also driving the improvement of service quality for clients. Activities that the Senior Quality Management Specialist engages in include completing compliance audits; applying accepted quality improvement strategies; developing and monitoring outcomes and process measures; and providing technical assistance to program staff and leadership.

Qualifications:

A Master’s Degree in Social Services, Human Services, or a closely related field AND One year of full-time experience performing duties comparable to a Social Worker II, Alcohol & Drug Counselor II, Registry & Training Specialist, Public Health Nurse, Mental Health Counselor, or a closely related position.

OR

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university AND two years of full-time experience performing duties comparable to a Social Worker II, Alcohol & Drug Counselor II, Registry & Training Specialist, Public Health Nurse, Mental Health Counselor, or related position.

OR

A registered nurse with two years of experience performing healthcare duties in a public health setting.

License or Certificate:
Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
