Description:

The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District has an opportunity for a Senior Real Property Agent (Senior RPA) in Riverside. The Senior RPA will be responsible for the acquisition of major complex real estate transactions for the County, including the disposition of County real property, review of independent appraisals, administration of property management, leasing and rental of County-owned property, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations related to real property activities. Competitive candidates will have prior experience working in a comparable government agency performing work in the acquisition, sale, leasing and management of government-owned real property.

Qualifications:

RECRUITING GUIDELINES:
Education: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with major coursework in economics, business or public administration, or a closely related field. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on the basis of one year of full-time experience equaling 30 semester or 45 quarter units of education.)

Experience: Three years of experience in the appraisal and negotiation for the acquisition of real property and rights-of-way, or negotiation, preparation, and management of complex leasing agreements and facility space utilization and allocation management.
