$73,821.43 – $121,589.35 Annually 

Description:

The Department of Social Services has a current vacancy for division manager at the Santa Maria district office, with oversight and leadership responsibility for Santa Maria intake operations of programs under the Economic Assistance Branch, including Medi-Cal (MC), CalFresh (CF), and General Relief (GR) programs; Exchange Intake Units that handle call transfers from Covered California and Reception/Central Clerical services. This manager will oversee six Eligibility Supervisors and two Clerical Supervisors representing 82 positions in the department. 

Qualifications:

Option 1:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences or management such as business administration, organizational management, public administration, or equivalent degree and five years experience in a public social services agency at the local, state or federal level, with three of the five years supervising a social services, income maintenance, employment services or administrative unit.

Option 2:
Graduation from an accredited two-year college with an associate’s degree in social or behavioral sciences or management such as business administration, organizational management, public administration, or equivalent degree and seven years experience in a public social services agency at the local, state or federal level, with five of the seven years supervising a social services, income maintenance, employment services or administrative unit.

OR Option 3:
A combination of education, experience, and training that equals the qualifications mentioned above
