$73,821.43 – $110,742.59 Annually 

Description:

The current vacancy is for the division manager at the Santa Maria Betteravia district office with responsibility for oversight of the Santa Maria region. This position has both local and countywide oversight and leadership responsibilities. The Santa Maria Division Chief will manage Countywide Court Services, Countywide Ongoing, Santa Maria Ongoing, Countywide Office Professional support, and lead or be a part of various committees and programs. 

Qualifications:

Option 1:
Possession of a master’s degree in social work, a master’s degree in marriage, family and child counseling, marital and family therapy, counseling psychology, clinical psychology, or other equivalent master’s degree from a college or university approved by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Behavioral Science Examiners and five years experience in a public social services agency at the local, state or federal level, and three years of management or supervisor experience with at least one of the years managing or supervising a child welfare services division or unit at the local, state or federal level.

Option 2:
Possession of a master’s degree from an accredited university and a minimum of five years experience in Child Welfare Services or Adult Services in a public social services agency at the local, state or federal level, and three years of management or supervisor experience with at least one of the years managing or supervising a child welfare services division or unit at the local, state or federal level.

OR Option 3:
A combination of education, experience, and training that equals the qualifications mentioned above.
