$89,868 – $109,235/year

Description:

Solano County is seeking an experienced public service professional to serve as the Social Services Manager in the Child Welfare Services Division.
The successful candidate for this position must demonstrate strong leadership skills, flexibility, creativity and the ability to work effectively to foster positive and harmonious working relationships, and experience working with a diverse staff and community groups.
The successful candidate will have directly supervised Social Services program while exhibiting:
– A demonstrated commitment to public service.
– A firm commitment to providing the highest quality of service to staff and the community.
– Sensitivity and responsiveness to advocacy, constituents and employee organizations.
– Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Three years of increasingly responsible experience in a social services program of which one year was in a supervisory capacity.

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university preferably with a major in Social Work or a related field.
