$87,400.47 – $106,235.82/year

Description:

The Social Services Supervisor is the first level supervisor for social workers providing a variety of adult and/or children’s services. Job incumbents supervise both administrative and technical groups of social workers and may provide administrative supervision over medical, mental health, and substance abuse professional staff under a system of matrix management (providing functional supervision to professionals in other disciplines, i.e. Public Health Nurse)

Qualifications:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Either:

Criteria I: Equivalent to graduation from a four-year accredited college or university AND Seven years of experience performing professional level social work with a public social services agency or private social services provider.

OR

Criteria II: Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Services (MSW) OR a two-year graduate level counseling degree AND Five years post degree experience performing professional level social work with a public social services agency or private social services provider.
