Description:

Solano County is recruiting for a Social Services Supervisor. Social Services Supervisors plan, organize, and supervise the work of a unit of social workers providing adult and/or child protective services, licensing, adoptions, dependency investigations, information and referral, and other social services; provides administrative oversight and supervision to allied medical, mental health, and substance professional staff assigned to the unit and performs related duties as required.

Qualifications:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Either:

Criteria I: Equivalent to graduation from a four-year accredited college or university AND Seven years of experience performing professional level social work with a public social services agency or private social services provider.

OR

Criteria II: Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Services (MSW) OR a two-year graduate level counseling degree AND Five years post degree experience performing professional level social work with a public social services agency or private social services provider.
