The County of El Dorado is conducting this recruitment to fill one (1) full-time Sr. Human Resources Analyst vacancy for the Human Resources Office located in Placerville. It will also establish a list which may be used to fill future full-time vacancies.
Under direction, performs complex human resource activities, including, recruitment and selection, equal employment opportunity, classification, compen¬sation and/or employee relations activities; provides expert professional assistance to County management staff; and may supervise assigned staff.
Education and Experience:
Where college degrees and/or college course credits are required, degrees and college units must be obtained from an accredited college or university. Courses from non-accredited institutions will not be evaluated for this requirement.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration, psychology, labor relations, or a related field
Two years of journey level experience in various areas of the human resource function in a centralized human resources setting at a level equivalent to the class of Human Resources Analyst II. A Master’s degree in public administration or human resources management may substitute for one year of the required experience. Experience in a public agency setting is desirable.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
