$71,177.60 – $86,528.00 Annually

Description:

The County of El Dorado is conducting this recruitment to fill one (1) full-time vacancy for the Planning and Building Department located in Placerville. It will also establish a list, for up to three months, which may be used to fill future full-time, part-time and extra-help vacancies.

Under general supervision, provides lead direction to professional planning staff and conducts complex professional work on difficult, current, advanced and/or environmental planning projects.

Qualifications:

Equivalent to graduation from a four year college or university with major coursework in city or regional planning, urban planning, or a closely related field, AND three years of professional planning experience. A Master’s degree in city, regional or urban planning is desirable and may be substituted for one year of the experience outlined above.
