Salary:

$69,940.20 – $85,012.75/year

Description:

As a Staff Analyst, under general supervision you would perform professional analytical work in a wide variety of consultative and analytical assignments.  Assignments may include program evaluation, planning, budgeting, reporting and report writing, grant administration, contract development or supporting the implementation of systems.  The position provides a vital role in leveraging efficiencies and effectiveness with solutions and outcomes.  Additionally, the incumbent will provide supervision to technical staff and will provide coverage on fiscal and budgetary matters in the absence of the Senior Staff Analyst.

Qualifications:

Experience: One (1) year of responsible professional work experience equivalent to the functions performed by a Staff Analyst (Entry) within the particular field of expertise required 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Special Requirements

Independent travel may be required.

Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Class C California driver’s license may be required.

Candidates for position in this class may be required to pass a background investigation in accordance with applicable law, regulations and/or policy.
