$74,027.20 – $90,355.20 Annually

Description:

The County is seeking a motivated and experienced candidate in personnel management with strong analytical skills who is highly organized, ethically sound, can develop and maintain cooperative and collaborative relationships, and able to exercise sound judgment. Position reports to the Director or designee and is responsible for coordinating, executing, and directing various departmental administrative services in support of personnel management and staffing, and is responsible for the planning and coordination of the departmental personnel services, training and manages administrative staff performing related support duties. Incumbent conducts administrative investigations of complaints of violations of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.

Qualifications:

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in public administration, business management, human resources management, or a related field.

Two years of experience performing professional level personnel work, preferably in a public agency setting or two years of management or administrative experience performing duties that included personnel management such as staff development, conducting investigations, administering leave processes, coordinating and providing training, and recruitment and onboarding.

Personnel experience in a human services setting is desired.

Possess valid California driver’s license.
