$123,934 – $145,805 annually, plus excellent benefits, including the 2% at 60 for classic CalPERS members or 2% at 62 for new members into the CalPERS retirement plan.

The City of Sunnyvale is seeking an experienced and innovative professional to become the Superintendent of Community Services. Sunnyvale is the fifth largest city in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a population of approximately 138,000, and has long been recognized as the “Heart of Silicon Valley.” The city is known for its diverse neighborhood parks, public recreation facilities and historic downtown business district.  The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a Superintendent of Community Services.  The Superintendent is responsible for planning organizing, directing and coordinating the activities of the Community Services Division within the Library and Community Services Department including planning, promoting and directing a wide range of recreation  and social programs and services that foster human development, health and wellness, cultural unity, and community building
