$6,229 to $8,503 Monthly

Description:

Under general direction to supervise, plan and direct the day to day activities of a team of professional Planners in the Resource Management Agency.

This class is the first line supervisor responsible for an assigned team of Planners. The class of Supervising Planner is distinguished from the next higher class of RMA Services Manager in that the latter directs, manages and supervises training and performance targets for an assigned functional team of professional, technical staff. Supervising Planner is distinguished from the next lower class of Senior Planner in that the latter works as a lead worker within an assigned team.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Three (3) years of performing the duties of a professional land use planner in a lead worker capacity.
AND
Education:
Successful completion of course work leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in planning, architecture or a closely related field, in which planning courses were included as part of the curriculum.
Highly Desirable:
Certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners and possess of AICP certification.
