$6,328.40 – $7,696.00 Monthly

Description:

Under general direction, analyze information processing needs for application to electronic information systems; analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations; produce project specifications and estimates; analyze or recommend commercially available software; convert project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to detailed design documents for coding into computer language; develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information; may program web sites; and perform other related duties as required.

The Supervising Programmer Analyst is the first line supervisor classification in the Programmer Analyst class series. Incumbents provide supervision to other programming staff, and may act for the Director or IS Manager in their absence.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Five (5) years of increasingly responsible programming experience. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the college education on a year for year basis.)

Education:
Equivalent to graduation from a four (4) year college with a degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field. Experience and/or education in computer science, information systems or programming may substitute for the college education on a year-for-year basis.
