$62,090.70 – $83,207.49 annually

Description:

The County of Butte is seeking a candidate to serve as SUPERVISOR, PSYCHIATRIC NURSE.  Under limited supervision, supervises psychiatric nurses in a variety of professional nursing and patient care services to support the functions and operation of the Behavioral Health Department’s acute crisis and inpatient facilities and assures that effective and appropriate care is provided. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and five (5) years professional experience in public or private health setting as a Registered Nurse.  One (1) year of experience in Butte County preferred.
• Three (3) of the five years’ experience must be as a Registered Nurse providing care to individuals with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of California, and remain active with all annual licensing requirements.
• A valid State of California driver’s license may be required.
