$86,819.20 – $105,934.40 Annually

Description:

The County of Kings is seeking a Water and Natural Resources Division Manager to monitor the development and implementation of the County’s water and natural resources program and related activities. Effective communication, research and analytical skills are essential for this position. The incumbent will work independently and cooperatively with interested local agencies to further develop and implement joint water management practices.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, political science, civil engineering, environmental science or related technical field.

Experience: Four (4) years experience working in natural resources and/or experience working in water-related programs, including experience facilitating meetings and workshops, conducting outreach to diverse interests, and delivering information in a variety of manners to various forums.

License: Possession of a valid, appropriate California driver’s license issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Special Requirements: Ability to: 1) work extended or irregular hours as necessary; and 2) travel within and outside of the County.
